Welcome to the Post Mourinho Era! Sunderland travel to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as Guus Hiddink has been made Interim Manager for the remainder of the season but I expect an unhappy crowd at the stadium today…some might be happy but the majority will be sad that the greatest manager they have had is gone…

Not taking away from the game today but Sunderland will want to have a real go at this today as Chelsea is in crisis mode at the moment, fans still outraged by Mourinho’s sudden departure and a question of the clubs future under their owner.

I don’t know why but I smell a Rat in all of this…If Chelsea win today’s game convincingly then people should start asking questions of the players like…why couldn’t you have done that before? Talent doesn’t just switch off like it has done for Chelsea this season…yes John Terry is getting on in years but what about the rest, Hazard, Fabregas,  Ivanovic, Falcao (kind of obvious) Costa…you get the idea!

I will go for a Chelsea win, I’ll say 1-0…I don’t know why but I just feel like the players will want a win but to not have people turn and blame them for the way their season has gone instead of Mourinho. Judging on how both teams have performed, Chelsea should still pick up the win as the quality is still there…despite the nine losses before Christmas so far!
