One thing that does confuse people about me is my love of Travel. The reason why many people get confused by this is because I always seem so reserved and prefer to keep to my own company the majority of the time so when I state that I traveled to quite a few countries around the world, they don’t believe me….until I show them the many pictures and videos I take while I’m there….they often go quiet after that.  Having Autism, I can understand that wanting to stay in the comforts of my home country is easier and I’d feel safer but knowing just how much is out there, I can’t just sit back and not at least see some of what our planet has to offer us all! Here is a list of every country I have visited during my lifetime.

  • Isle of Man
  • Jersey (Channel Islands)
  • Spain
  • Tenerife
  • France
  • Belgium
  • America
  • Holland
  • Italy
  • Japan

I have always wanted to see the world, as many places as I can whilst I’m here, I’m not one of those people who can go to the same place every single year and be satisfied, I still want to see so many more places

  • Australia
  • Africa
  • Canada
  • China
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Portugal
  • Sweden
  • Norway

I love to collect cultural items from each place along my travels as well which is always awesome if not always tricky to get back home, I got stopped at Airport Security in Italy for a statue of the Leaning Tower of Pisa! They thought it was something else….anyway! I have also do many things in other countries that I never thought I would do in my life….like going to a Maid Cafe in Akihabara and pretending to be a…Cat. Might as try it once, eh?

They made me do this!

Riding a Horse in Tenerife, which was actually fun…until I got bit on the leg by a bug! Climbing up Mount Vesuvius and seeing the Bay of Naples and trying to see how far I could walk down a street in Orlando,Florida without seeing a fast food restaurant…I didn’t get far!  The point is, I realise that over the last few years, I have actually done quite a lot during my travels, so much that I might as well write about them because they mean a lot to me!

I have always loved travelling, probably because I live on a small island called Britain and you realise just how much more there is out there, plus I’m not known for keeping still, often exploring at any chance I get…much to the annoyance of my wife sometimes.

I’ll finish here for now. Feel free to comment/message, I’d love to read other people’s stories of travelling across the globe, I just love them!
